HAWKER® was delighted to attend the 2022 MODEX Trade Show in Atlanta, GA. As a provider of leading-edge motive power system solutions, it’s only natural for HAWKER® to attend this year’s MODEX trade show located in Atlanta’s prestigious Georgia World Congress Center. We exhibited our solutions alongside other material handling industry leaders dedicated to solving the most complex and urgent challenges at the core of today’s supply chain.
After two years of pandemic-related cancellations, this year’s MODEX Trade Show was a swarm of enthusiasm and excitement. Some of the largest players in the global material handling industry turned up to commit themselves to solving a problem—How can technology, human innovation, and data shape our supply chain for the better?
At the largest MODEX event in history, over 37,000 attendees and 850 exhibitors converged to trade experience, solutions, and technology. HAWKER® was thrilled to be among some of the Fortune 500 companies that drive our world and the top 100 retailers and consumer goods firms that supply everything we need for our daily lives.
At HAWKER®, we’ve seen for ourselves how every sector of the motive power industry is still being affected by delays and the availability of raw materials. Computer chip shortages are creating one of the largest impacts across the board on all sectors of material handling. As always, the issue of “power” played a role in discussions about how we generate the movement that keeps the world economy moving.
HAWKER® offers multiple arrays of motive power technologies ( batteries and chargers) to enhance each customer’s operation to optimize productivity, improve efficiency, and minimize costs, Our motive power solutions are also adaptive enough to meet a customer’s current and future needs. By offering various battery technologies, we’re able to address multiple applications within the same environment while offering data management to demonstrate tangible evidence supporting the best solutions.
As part of the solution, HAWKER® was on hand at MODEX to demonstrate our contributions to today’s global supply chain issue. At our booth, we displayed the top two most sought-after technologies for motive power—lithium and TPPL (thin plate pure lead). By our observations, upwards of 85% of the attendees who came to our booth were interested in one of these two power solutions.
Amidst conversations about real-time data reporting, automation, reporting data software solutions, and lithium battery solutions, the most fruitful product of our attendance at the 2022 MODEX trade show were the connections we made. After two years of cancellations, meetings and conversations were much more meaningful and spirits were high.
The connections we made at this year’s MODEX will endure for years to come as we, and others within the supply chain, improve, learn, and innovate.
Among the most famous attendees of this year’s MODEX trade show—Shaquille O’Neal and Marriott global COO, Erika Alexander—the real stars were the men and women working toward the ultimate improvement of today’s supply chain. Together with new, old, and recently-met industrial partners and players, HAWKER® is looking forward to the future with all its challenges, solutions, and possibilities.
